As an Engineer, you’re working behind the scenes to keep the property running smoothly for our guests, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering. You attend to the daily maintenance and repairs, from HVAC problem solving to dry way repairs. As an Engineer you are responsible for saving the day, and ensuring that there is rarely, if ever, a day that needs saving. When you are engaging with our guests, you are patient, accommodating, warm while resolving the issues as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Above all else, you must the MAMA Spirit at all times.
Job Overview:
- You are passionate about hospitality and upholding the MAMA standards.
- Fault repair, maintenance of equipment, preventative maintenance, plumbing, furniture, painting, and lighting.
- Perform general tasks such as connecting equipment, lighting, installing locks, and hinges, etc.
- Carry out installation work.
- Accurate control of the work and own work space/equipment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, wearing appropriate safety equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
- Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records.
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership team.

- Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including evenings and weekends and holidays.

MAMA Would Love It If:
- 2-4 years previous hotel or property maintenance experience.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- You’re passionate and creative about what you do and how you do it.
- You’re not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.
