Job Description:
The Patient Coordination and Executive Support Specialist serves as a critical link in our healthcare organization, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between patients, healthcare providers, executive staff, and insurance companies. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Insurance Verification: Verify and document patient insurance coverage, coordinating with insurance providers as needed to confirm policy details and resolve any discrepancies.
Patient Referral Data Management: Organize, maintain, and update all data related to patient referrals, ensuring accurate and timely recording and tracking.
Patient Journey Documentation: Monitor and document the entire patient journey, from referral and patient care to discharge, ensuring that all stages are correctly documented in line with our organization's procedures and regulatory requirements.
Executive Schedule Management: Manage schedules for the executive team, coordinating appointments, meetings, and events, and ensuring effective time management.
Liaison Activities: Serve as a liaison between executive parties, facilitating effective and efficient communication and collaboration.
Document Organization: Maintain all necessary documents in an organized and accessible manner, ensuring efficient document retrieval and compliance with data protection regulations.
Meeting Minutes: Attend meetings as needed, taking accurate notes and disseminating information to relevant parties in a timely manner.
Materials Ordering: Manage the ordering of all materials, ensuring the organization has the necessary supplies to function efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in healthcare administration or a related field, along with experience in healthcare coordination or administration. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in data management, and a working knowledge of health insurance policies and procedures. They should also demonstrate a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements is a must. Proficiency in using healthcare management software and tools is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.00 - $37.26 per hour
