Training Specialist

Job Summary:

The Training Specialist will report directly to the Director, Training & Support and will coordinate on a routine basis with the Support Directors, Managers and Team Leads as well as with the Corporate Trainer. The ideal candidate will be a confident presenter that is capable of establishing a presence and credibility within all levels of the organization, who can present standardized training materials in a consistent fashion to new hires and to current employees as needed.


Core Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain the technical knowledge base pertaining to the systems and functional knowledge of the supporting platforms.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, job aids, knowledge checks, etc. to meet the training needs of the Support organization.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Team Leads, Tier 2, Subject Matter Experts to define, develop and prioritize training needs.
  • Develop a solid background in the principles of adult education, course development, needs analysis and training effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the curriculum and conduct routine on-the-job-training.
  • Serve as training liaison to help ensure stakeholders are aware of and informed of the various training activities.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good leadership skills with a high energy level and a strong presence
  • Excellent written verbal communication skills
  • Results oriented with a high degree of accountability
  • True team player with the ability to facilitate change
  • Bilingual helpful, but not required


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent job experience.
