JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary: The ROI Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the activities of the ROI area to ensure a smooth and timely workflow. The Team Leader will process all requests for medical information, support the ROI Manager with status reports, and supervise ROI clerks.
Essential Functions:
- Receive written requests for medical information and evaluate to determine if request is valid.
- Provide clear direction, set goals, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Process all valid requests to timely completion.
- Respond to telephone inquiries regarding status of requests and how to obtain medical information.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment.
- Perform support functions to maintain smooth workflow.
- Performs supervisory functions to assist ROI Manager.
- Assists in hiring new employees.
All other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of digital scanner systems.
- Technical knowledge of computers and computer programs.
- Ability to organize and prioritize customer requests based on internal metrics.
- Works well in both individual and group settings.
- Can see large projects to completion and within a reasonable time.
- Self-motivated

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and build strong relationships with associates, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality laws and regulations.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.
Education and Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in the field of ROI or comparable experience.
- Must have High School Diploma, associate degree preferred.
- Must be able to speak and write in English.
- Proficiency in typing
