Operations Support Specialist [United States]


 Superior Plus Propane is in search of a Operations Support Specialist. The Operations Support Specialist will resolve customer issues with a concentration on social media platforms as well as the customer portal (web and app).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers question and concerns via social media platforms in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Admin issues (registration, forgotten password, etc.)
  • Navigating capabilities
  • Communication preference settings (text, paperless)
  • Manage customer text communications
  • Respond to texts sent from customers and communicate with other departments and the field as needed
  • Enroll/cancel customers from Cargas message campaigns
  • Bounced/stop messaging
  • Engage existing and new customers via click-to-chat
  • Answer email requests sent through our online platforms
  • Social media responses via FB, Twitter, etc.
  • Respond to customer requests from converted VMs
  • Utilizing software, databases, written scripts, and tools appropriately
  • Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications, Certifications, Endorsements and Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Exceptional written communication, appropriate grammar
  • Experience in call center or fast paced environment
  • Customer-focused
  • Detail oriented
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Understanding of company products, services, and policies
  • Proficiency with computers (Adds and/or Cargas a +), web based programs
  • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
  • Strong time management and decision making skills
  • Adaptability and accountability
